Know About Your Tea | Sudip Simkhada

1. Did you know? Tea is that the second most consumed beverage on the earth – after water. It’s even greatly consumed than Coffee. Despite Coffee’s popularity within the West, much of the center East and Asia have tea drinking ingrained in their culture.

2. The art of reading Tea leaves is understood as ‘Tasseography. This word originated in France. Tasse means cup. This extended to reading coffee grains and wine too. But nobody knows the precise origin of Tasseography.

3. Tea is free gift when you visit someone’s house. It doesn’t cost you money there. But it’s the neatest thing to start out talking in a shop or hotel or cafe or with strangers. It’s for a break in the office.

4. Alcohol is often an excellent accompaniment to tea. Tea is understood to be a natural source of fluoride. It helps protect against both cavity and gum disease.

5. Tea contains “polyphenols”. These are the antioxidants that repair cells and are said to assist our system and bodies to assist against cardiovascular diseases, cancers, diabetes, osteoporosis, and other potential ailments.

6. As the picture above says, the eagerness of tea is increased with the purpose of completion of tea in a glass. While talking about shop, the amount of tea glass increased with the amount of friend increase. Tea with cigarettes is extremely common in winter.

7. Tea has more caffeine than coffee – but it isn’t as simple as that.

“के हजुरले नाक काट्नु भएको छ ?”

आफू भन्दा ठूलो मान्छेले आफ्ना छोरीचेलीलाई नाक नकाटेस् भनेको त सबैले सुनिरहेको कुरा हो । नाक काट्नु मात्र होइन नाक राख्दा पनि हाम्रो समाजमा कुरा हुन्छ। नाक काट्नु र नाक राख्नुमा के फरक छ भने नाक काट्दा नकारात्मक सन्देश जान्छ र नाक राख्दा सकारात्मक सन्देश जान्छ।

मैले नबुझेको कुरा चैं नाक कसरी काट्ने? कैंंचीले काट्ने कि हंँसियाले काट्ने कि बन्चरोले काट्ने ? के हजुरलाई थाहा छ ? मान्छेको अनुहारको सबैभन्दा बाहिर निस्केको अंग हो नाक । राम्रो काम गर्दा बढ्ने अनि नराम्रो काम गर्दा खुम्चने यो कस्तो नाक?

हजुरलाई थाहा छ नेपालमा नाक राखेर काम गर्न सकिंँदैन नि । नाक काटेर काम गरे मात्र सफल भइन्छ। उदाहरणको लागि जागीर खान पनि नेपालमा नाक काट्नुपर्छ । आफूले होइन जागीर खुवाउने मान्छेले भनेको । त्यही नाक काटेर जागीर खुवाएकाले त आज देशको जनशक्ति विदेश पलायन भएका त । नेपालमा बस्नेहरूले त नाक नकाटी त कुनै काम बन्दैन। घरबाट निस्केदेखि अरुले नाक काट्छन् पैसा आफूले तिर्नु पर्छ ।

नेपाली राजनीतिमा पनि त्यस्तै छ। सबै भारतको निम्ति आफ्नो नाक काट्छन्। मैले देखेको र बुझेको अनुसार देव शमशेर राना बाहेकका लगभग सबै प्रधानमन्त्रीहरुले नाक काटेका थिए । त्यही कारण देव शमशेर राणा धेरै टिक्न सकेनन्।

अब एकैछिन् विदेशको कुरा गरम् है त ।
मैले विदेशी पाहुनासँग कुरा गर्ने अवसर पाएको थिएँ । मैले प्रश्न गरेः

“Do you cut your nose?” (तपाईले नाक काटनुभएको छ ?)
“What?” (हअअ?)
………………
“Do you put your nose?” (तपाईले नाक राख्नुभएको छ ?)
“What?” (हअअ?)
………………
हो नेपालमा अथवा दक्षिण एसियाका देशभन्दा अन्त धेरै स्वतन्त्रता छ । तेस्ता देशहरूमा नाक राख्ने कि काट्ने भन्ने कुरै हुँदैन । सबै कुरा नियममा हुन्छ।

यी सबै कुरालाई हेर्दा मैले आफूले आफूलाई कहाँ राख्ने थाहा पाउन सकिनंँ । सबै कुराको सकारात्मक र नकारात्मक पक्ष हुन्छन् । त्यस्तै कुनै ठाँउमा नाक काटेँ होला कुनै ठाउंँमा नाक राखेँ होला । यो वर्णन गर्ने काम हजुरहरुको ।
