By Ode to the nature
OH! Nature thou is my mother,
Thou cherishes my mind,
Thou teaches me to smile
Thou fills my heart with thy blessings,
Thy touch is ever kind,
Thy beauty is a mile,
Thy company is everything,
A happy moment thou brings,
Through my ears thou sings,
Thy beauty is everlasting,
Thy smile is ever-ending,
A long ago, tired I am,
With city life, restless I am.
I wish to flee away from these all,
Till the months and years fall,
Bestow me with thy blessings,
Bath me with springs,
Hang me with thy deep dark clouds,
Fill my ears with thy melodious sounds
