From where they are wandering about
Among the steel risings and the concrete
They are lost men
Who wander among ephemeral creations
Looking for permanency!
They are blinded men
Who forgot the warmth of sunrises
In the glare of night lights
They are men who pretend to hear
Just the noise that keeps them hooked to jobs
Among moving machines and men
They are men who smell not the earth
And wet themselves in odors
TO cover up their own body stinks
They are men who have mastered recipes
And lost the sensations of the raw fruits
Scrambling for glamour on their plates
They are men who have forgotten their songs
That once resonated among primitive rocks
And have been muted by the etiquettes of civilization
They have forsaken the mother
And then they forsook joy and peace
