7 Day Home Photography
“A picture speaks 1000 words.” – A very famous quotation which reflects the art of photography.
Well, photography is an art of taking or capturing the moments. Whether we are a full-time office-based workers or a freelancer, everyone loves to capture moments in their lens.
You might wander a photography session needs traveling, exploration and exposure. Yeah, that is true in a sense, but you can also snap great shots while you are spending your time at home.
A home photography session lets you observe minor objects you always missed out. It will teach you to embrace things around you, learn better photography angle and promises to give an astonishing home photography experience.
So, are we ready for the 7 day home photography challenge?
1) Food Photography
We can never miss food if we love photography. This home edition, challenge yourself to click the best out of food items that you can find in kitchen. Sounds simple? Let’s give it a try.

What you should do: Take some sliced lemon or a chopped onions or a raw carrots or any food items you like and make it your model for a day. Balance the lights, focus the item and click. Boom. Share with your friends and invite them to join in the challenge.
2) Black and White Photography
“When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in Black and white, you photograph their souls!” ― Ted Grant. How about a black and white photography for your second day photo challenge?

What you should do: Take an object or a person and click their black and white photo. Make sure you look for contrast, shape and texture. If you are new to photography, try capturing the best black and white photo of your favorite object.
3) Portrayed Photography
Planning to change a new profile picture in your social media? How about clicking a new portrayed photo? This photography technique lets you learn more about your subject and preserves these memories for future.

What you should do: You need to be slight near the object or person. Focus on the subject, balance the lights and blur the background. Give more emphasis to the subject and practice shallow depth photography technique.
4) Nature photography
Nature can be the best subject for photography. Why not try nature photography for a day? As nature can reflect so much of yourself and your interest, it is fun capturing the natural activities.

What you should do: Go to your backyard or terrace and look around. You might see birds flying, sun shining, tree standing or an insects crawling or anything that attracts your eyes. Capture them. Use a wide-angle lens for better dimension.
5) Candid Shot
A picture clicked secretly can turn into beautiful memories sometimes. Candid shot can be fun but isn’t that easy. Clicking the moving subject is the challenge while taking candid shots.

What you should do: Take your camera or a mobile and secretly capture your family member’s activities. You can also click photographs of your pet animals. Make sure to turn the flash off to not get captured and you are ready to click-click.
6) Night Photography
Night photography can be little difficult as lights are very low during dark. Well, that is the challenge: to capture a beautiful moment during night.

What you should do: Get a tripod or steady your hands firmly. Use low ISO, take test shots and click at-least one good night photograph in a day. You can click photos of sunset, stars, or even your family members.
7) Selfie Photography
Ever tried a DSLR selfie or a timer photography of your own? It is so much fun and funny. We are good at clicking but we rarely pose, right? Let’s click our best shot ourselves. Note down this challenge and let the challenge begin.

What you should do: Turn your camera facing yourself, move it a bit further, give a perfect angle and shot. Not happy? Try keeping a timer and give a pose. The more you experience, the more you learn yourself and better you become day by day. You can use mobile camera for your convenience too.
