Poetry by Islam Abdain

Reply to the complaint from a soul.
Have I ever told you how much you mean to me?,
Have I ever used (word) love to fabricate our affinity just a fantasy?
Have I ever talked with you in a fictional way to be incognizant about the orphan nights?
Have I ever kissed you with the lipstick of slavery to be unknown about the misery of our brothers and sisters?
Have we ever had a walk of pleasure at falling dusks to be forgotten about the warriors of light?
Have we ever spent a single moment of life without reminding of the painful past?
Have I ever shared the poetry of bodies when we slept at the bed of cruelty?
Have I ever explained to you how much I desire you?;
In the loneliness and darkness of life’s nights;
When a folk feels the worst hunger of the body.
Have I ever shared our secrets to the disloyal wind?
to make our love negative, prominent, and guilty from the foolish folks?
Have I ever complained to you about losing the charm of your smile;
when you cried and cupped your hopeless chin?
Have I ever told you how much you mean to me?
Have I ever used the word (love) to fabricate our affinity just a fantasy?
