There were four groups of friends walking back home after attending a beautiful fair held only once a year on the full moon of January. The friends—Rami, Rana, Nigarim, and Tulash—were filled with excitement, but as the clock struck 11:45 PM, they realized they needed to hurry home. Their parents had warned them not to be out late at night; it wasn’t safe, especially on a night like this. Deciding to take a shortcut through a deserted side street, the boys felt a thrill at their daring choice.
As they walked down the deserted road, they sang loudly, enjoying the freedom of youth. Two of them, Rana and Tulash, were drunk and cheerful, their laughter echoing into the night. Suddenly, they noticed a beautiful blue light shimmering ahead of them. They saw a stunning lady walking in the light, her back turned to them. They couldn’t resist flirting with her, but she didn’t respond.
When they approached her, she continued to walk further away. Curiously, they followed her, their excitement growing. She was Mysterious, and the chase felt thrilling. Whenever they walked faster, she matched their pace, maintaining the distance between them. They were captivated, drawn deeper into the woods.
As they reached the middle of the road, Rana, feeling the urge to smoke, pulled out cigarettes. Struggling to light his lighter, he asked Tulash for help. After a few moments of trying, the flame finally flickered to life. But just then, a piercing scream echoed through the air, a scream that froze them in place. They turned to see the lady vanish into thin air, her horrific scream lingering in the stillness. Terror sweep them, and without a backward glance, they ran as fast as they could toward home, their hearts pounding in their chests.
They reached their homes, collapsing into bed, each lost in his own thoughts and fears. No one spoke a word; they all felt an unshakeable sense of dread hanging in the air.
Hours later, Tulash was jolted awake by strange noises outside. Dazed and annoyed, he stumbled outside, irritated at the commotion that disrupted his sleep. But as he made his way through the gathering crowd, horror struck him like a lightning bolt. His heart dropped as he saw the lifeless bodies of his friends—Rami, Rana, and Nigarim—lying on the ground.
He approached them, very puzzled, only to be struck by a horrifying realization: his own body was also stretched on the ground nearby. The crowd whispered in hushed tones, saying they were victims of a full moon cursed princess demon.
Panic surged through Tulash as memories of the night flooded back. They hadn’t made it home; they had died the moment they heard that dreadful scream in the woods.
He recalled how, when they returned, his parents had simply seen the door swing open and assumed a gust of wind had caused it. They hadn’t known he was gone; they hadn’t known he was dead. The chilling truth settled in—he realized the horror of that cursed street.
Legend had it that a demon once lived there, a beautiful woman who had secretly killed and drained the blood of unsuspecting victims. When her family discovered her dark secret, they cast her out into the forest, binding her soul there. Since that day, she hunted anyone who dared to wander into her territory on the night of the full moon.
Tulash understood then the gravity of his parents’ warnings. They had dismissed the stories, but now they were wrapped around in the very horror they had laughed at.
Their laughter and bravado had led them to their doom, and the curse would continue, waiting for the next unsuspecting souls to wander into its grasp. The street echoed their fate, a cautionary tale for anyone foolish enough to ignore the warnings of the past.
