I remember when I first saw you.
You were the fun one in the party.
Making everyone laugh.
Seeing you do your magic,
Brought a little smile on my face.
Then you walked towards me.
I was kind of nervous, to be honest.
But with every conversation,
I felt alive and joy.
Brought a little smile on my face.
As days passed by,
With you, my smile grew wider.
And the laughter became louder.
Became vulnerable and strong,
At the same time.
Every time I heard your footsteps,
Brought a little smile on my face.
Then you left.
Left me hanging like a chandelier.
When I had felt most beautiful,
Your disappearance left me with no shine.
And what’s the use of chandelier,
Without no lights, right?
And now as you have walked away,
Took all those silly smiles off my face.
