 Liberty

Ask a bird in a cage,
“What it’s like to live in a rampage?”
With a lenient smile, it replies,
“It’s like a world full of cries”
Ask a man who is a slave,
“What it’s like to live in pains?”
With a tender smile, he replies,
“It’s like a world full of goodbyes”
Ask a girl in society,
“What it’s like to live out of the way?”
With a warm smile, she replies,
“It’s like a world full of compromises”
Then, I just realized,
Liberty is what we all idealize.
