Moon | Poem by Pratik Subedi

Look at the moon and its beguiling light
Though borrowed from the sun, it still shines bright
Proudly it stands amidst the darkness
Amidst the random stars, what a beautiful mess

Clouds hover around dark and ghastly
Yet it stands there, not flinching its dignity
So triumphant pulling the waves from the land
It stands, charismatically it stands.
