It’s Okay! Hey I’m fine | Niruta Yadav

“Not everyone can feel things as intensely as you,” they agree. But, to get to the point, certain memories and situations hit you as hard as inexplicable.

When people were asking me, “how are you doing”, I thought do they actually have time to listen if I said ‘I’m not feeling okay’?

Will they actually give me that moment and understand what I am going through?

“Hey I’m fine, oh great, everything is great.”

“Is everything really, okay?” And I wasn’t really okay so I think that’s what really got to me. Actually, I still can’t get over the things I lost, failed, grieved, and begged for last year, month, day, and minute.

Has anyone considered having me, having my suffering?

“Ya, you are strong, and you will be healed,” I was told.

Again this is the moment that really got to me.

How my exams went, how I suffered, how I dealt with every failure, how I dealt with all these barriers that I wasn’t even meant and ready for, how many times I just came up to beg for help, and how many times I got dissatisfaction and compromised myself to again stand by myself?

It hurts so much when you literally urge someone to be there. And they ignore you. Or they won’t be there when you need them the most. How easy it is to say ‘sorry’ or that they were busy doing something else the next day.

But have you ever considered how I went about passing that time? Will I be able to seek assistance once more? This is the moment that got me yet again.

Stories of struggle, pain, and never-ending tears in the eyes; stories of falls; stories where you asked for people’s presence physically, emotionally, and intellectually; stories where you couldn’t feel; stories of expectations, stories of………… . Are you a part of any this?

So, again this is the moment that really got to me. Sorry, this could be my assumption getting enlarge!

It’s exhausting to put on a brave face when you are on the verge of extinction. But finally what I meant is we often aim to meet certain criteria of perfection.

And we fail because we have an inferiority mentality that makes us question our own being. We compare ourselves to others, believing that we will never be able to achieve their level of success.

But I suppose this isn’t required.

Because perfection is defined by accepting one’s shortcomings and unconditionally loving oneself. Allow yourself to fall a thousand times since this is what life is all about.

It’s okay if you’re unfortunate; if you can’t obtain what you want; remember, it’s just okay. Things become trickier. Physically, you may be in good health, but emotionally, you may be experiencing something unexplained. You have your friends, loved ones, and everyone else at your side; you can discuss anything, but you already know how difficult it is to describe yourself. So, just remember it’s super okay!

It’s Okay!
