Where to begin… From the semi beginning, I would like to thank my predecessors. All of them. As a matter of fact, I would like to thank their entire generation and the generations before them.
I would like to thank them for being lazy. For finding an easier solution to any problem. I mean yes, we needed something like cars and bikes for transportation. Mass producing vehicles that operate on fossil fuels on factories that discharge harmful chemicals and more, and using them through this many generations is quite an achievement. I mean, we do need to feed wealthy oil corporations, or else what will they do if we switch suddenly to alternative energy; wait we can’t. Turns out our daily needs of transportation only are such heavily dependent on fossil fuel that now, we can’t just suddenly stop. It would take generations to turn back. So, thank you.
The next item on the menu is Deforestation. So, thank you for randomly cutting down trees. I mean, I personally have never used a tree for anything so why does it matter that if we clear them out? I mean who cares if the global temperature rises. It will just slowly extinct some heat-sensitive species that are essential to the ecosystem. Also, who needs pure and safe air to breath; we can last a whole of about one minute without air. With air let’s cover water too. Just a minor few droughts and excessive rain, no big deal. And I almost forgot due to the rise in global temperature we might lose some major coastal areas of the world; just let that be it will only affect your children and generation after them if there is one.
So, what’s next? Let talk about waste management, shall we? I mean the way there is a masterpiece on the water bodies throughout the world is a feat that well no other species has ever achieved before, and I am talking about water bodies only. Both degradable and non-degradable wastes; how can we ever reach that milestone as a generation, I mean hats off.
So to conclude, thank you for not giving us even a fighting chance. Now we can only slow down and delay major extinction-level events caused by mankind. “Mankind”? Quite ironic calling us kind.
