Is the plain a nest? | Nguyen Thanh Hai | Vietnam Poet

Nguyen Thanh Hai

Hey baby, is the Plain a nest

Life is like a river

We’ve been together for a quarter of a century

Now come back, I want to make the sound of birds to stay somewhere to see all the silhouettes of the fields

Ah, the country river, oh, where does the country river flow?

Is the river dry and then the river full?

Do the Delta people ever forget their footprints on the riverside?

The feeling is still the same as when the world opened

Hey baby, do you see the crow’s nest next to the starling tree?

The golden straws also want to speak instead of the cotton and melon

Love small boats, life is too big to buy and sell

Which tree is hanging upside down in the traders up and down the river?

Is the Plain a nest

Us, the birds of the sky, fly away

I finally realized that nothing reminds me closer to home

After a hundred falls in the afternoon and then return to a peaceful place…
