English Poem | Unspoken Longings | Shashi Sharma Dumre

She was the only one who got entry in my heart

Whom i wished and loved a lot

I loved her innocence and heart

It was true love in my thought.

Among her followers, I was just one more,

Yet my hidden love, never reached the shore.

Wandering near her, my time was in vain,

Now, recalling those moments brings quiet pain.

Now I memorize my past day

When she was there and i became unable to say

My thousand of word remain unexpressed

When I saw her with someone else.

She will live happy its my bless

My love life failed with my love at first glance.

Now, My unsent letter tells me many time

Many words left unexpressed.

Her laughter still lingers in my mind,

In every shadow, her smile I find.

Though our paths have parted in the end,

Her memory stays, a wound time won’t mend.

In the quiet of night, my heart aches alone,

For dreams of her linger, like whispers of stone.

I gather my thoughts like leaves in the breeze,

And hold onto her love, though it brings me to my knees.
