A Girl Who Procrastinates | Sajira Shrestha

How can she believe
When someone says they love her eyes
While she doesn’t love her own body.
How can she believe
When they tell her she is a goddess
While she hates what’s on her mind.

The doubts she has
Led her nowhere.
The confusions and chaos
Only made her sick.
No matter how many heroic roles
She played in people’s life.
Her own universe crumbles down
When she is the antagonist
Of her own story.

And that’s why she procrastinates
In anticipation to love herself tomorrow.
She hopes that the next day
She would finally believe what others say.
Maybe the next day
She would rise like a superhero
In her own story.
