‘Gender Equality’ | Poem by Seema kunwar

Seema kunwar

Some call me mom, some call me daughter
Many names but I’m only the one
I can walk, I can talk
But u(men) tell me to stop!

God creates us, I create u
Why u try to refuse the truth
May physically I m less But it doesn’ mean u call me waste

Harder responsibilities on my shoulder
Makes me strong for any danger
I’m at my best
But u need a test!

I made a history
& u proved it mystery
Nature trace my abilities
U points my disabilities!

I want an equalism
U give me a reservation
I curb my thinks
& u cross the limits

Don’t show up ur sympathy I
Believe in continuity
Reputation doesn’t matter
If u give me tempation!

U r my perfect substitution
Unless u replace me with submission
I m not claiming that I’m special but I want to live with a high label!

If exceptions are appreciated
Then why expectation are depreciated
I want a world where I will not be judge by character
But will judge by my content!

-Seema kunwar

Note:(‘u’ is used to avoid repetition of men)
