Wait for sometimes my love | Poem by Nafisha Pradhan

Wait for sometimes my love |

Wait for sometimes my love
In my life, there’s no place for you right now
I was born being a girl, not to tie myself in marriage.

I am not ready to leave my home giving it the name of spouse’s

Don’t come on horse my love, rather I will come to take you from all above.
Wait for sometimes my love, time might not wait but, love will never fade.

I seek your love but not at this moment
I have to do something for myself and make my parents proud, crossing my hardship but never letting myself down.

I want to tie up in your love with the freedom
Not with any force, suffocating us to breathe on.

Wait for sometimes my love,
Haven’t learned to break my promises.

You do something for your own self and I’ll do for mine.
For sake, you don’t have to look after any burden in the name of love.

Wait for sometimes my love.
