Afternoon like immense leaves | Nguyen Thanh Hai

Nguyen Thanh Hai

Isn’t there a little bit of sadness that just lingered?

Just a little bit, but the leaf has just fallen as if it has not found a fulcrum, not like someone who forgot his promise

Yesterday afternoon forgot until now…

Which river has flowed to sadness and joy deep into the shore?

I’m here, I don’t know if I’m sad or happy, just drink in the afternoon

I can’t take my sadness and measure out how many samples

love the yellow squash

Now the rain has just begun to fall on a wander

It was yesterday, can’t find it

open but closed sadness

The rain and the sun outside keep lying to each other

What day did you leave?

idly, only silence

In the end, everyone goes home to grieve with their mother

I only love myself

afternoon like immense leaves…
