POLITICAL FLUCTUATION IN UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES

A political party can be termed as an organization led by politicians whose aim is to obtain political power through the election.

But, it is not the fact that the party remains will govern for a long period of time, such a situation whereby a country is going through the political turmoil that may include the decline in terms of economic progress and may involve the death of people is called as political fluctuation.

The term ‘corruption’ best defines political instability. When there is fluctuation in the government, then the economic progress hinders that in itself makes the country underdeveloped.

There are invisible reasons for the political fluctuation as the politicians have in themselves become a captive agent to destabilize the country under the machination of the unseen force.

The three institutions: political representation, majority rule, and the party system are the major components of political machinery.

Generally speaking, no form of government is considered to be the best, as it has to be perfect from all people’s view and all directions. The main causes of fluctuation are due to the fight between intra and inter political parties’ conflicts.

Another fact can be the dual law that creates problems to implement the government policies and legislation. The main reason is enough internal problems trying to plant the root of the alien concept of democracy in adverse socio-economic soil.

The election is not free and fair, intolerance for the views and opinions is the first and foremost reason for short government. But the developed countries have fair and transparent elections that help in long term government. The classical example often cited is, the constitution of Britain is still not written and that of the USA was written about two centuries ago.

Talking about the political fluctuation in the underdeveloped countries, the main reasons for the instability are the suppression of citizen rights, corruption, and poverty. Along that includes mismanagement of wealth. mass unemployment and conflict between ruling and opposition parties, not open and transparent constitution, high level of prejudice in the country, and holding of power beyond their time can easily plunge the political instability.

This was typified by Nepal’s current political situation that is getting alarmingly complicated and getting out of hand, what people don’t agree is the cause of it, some find fault in the constitution, others blames the expensive election process, and still, others argues the direct election of prime minister in the fixed tenure. However, such criticisms and problems are seen once in a blue moon in the developed countries like the USA, UK, and other European states, that make economic progress and develop the nation confidently.

It is difficult to escape the effects of the fluctuated politics and government. Firstly, many states and countries get torn apart by internal strife that results in the death of many people of the nation. In addition, many people suffer poverty and poverty which indicates the graph of the nation’s development describing that almost half the world lives on less than $2.50 a day.

Secondly, it also affects the tourism in that area. When major policies are on the verge of changing, people tend to avoid traveling to these areas. Another effect is seen on agriculture; conflict can disrupt the supply of the inputs and outputs, create price shocks, and massive displacement of laborers, for instance in Mali and Nigeria. Finally, economic freedom and ethnic homogeneity lower and democracy may have a slightly negative effect.

In totalitarian nations, political fluctuation not only threatens but also ruins international business operations.

Finally, globalization refers to the increasing unification of the world’s economic order through the reduction of the unwanted barriers for international trade tariffs.

Political globalization is when government action takes place on the global level where responsibilities such as the welfare of citizens and economic growth are acted upon by an international body.

In the past, the government typically served the citizens of their own nation, but now, the world is more globally connected which means politics often takes place in globally connected settings. The rise in the technological field has led the government of the world to become increasingly connected.

There are many examples of political globalization like the European Union, where political integration joins multiple nations to make decisions and establish policies.

There can be other political agencies that help the world with solving the problems of theirs like the International Monetary Fund, World Trade Organization, and United Nations that transcended the old barriers of national divisions to make politics common.

Access to international aid and support, world peace, a gain of influence for the smaller nations, spread the freedom and fight abuse and the government can learn from each other are the advantages of political globalization.

On the other hand, the state of sovereignty is reduced, the shape of a decision by larger countries in super national organizations, slow down of decision making and finally, coordination is difficult and expensive, can be the disadvantages of globalization.

To date, almost every country in the world is haunted by historical injustice and oppressive structures that were bequeathed to the post-colonial leadership.

This is an aspect that informs the weak institution of the state, flawed legislative system, and the constant struggle for a political power to the detriment of the well-being of the nations which could have moved on the path of development as part of modern societies. So, political stability is the key to development.

Without peace and a stable atmosphere, the country can develop. Many underdeveloped countries are in a state of underdevelopment and poverty mainly because of political instability. Is it longevity, social order, well-fed people, constructing awe-inspiring monuments, or something else to make government successful? But the million-dollar question remains; how can political stability be promoted in the country?

So really, I think there is no “one size fits all” government. Whatever form of government is best will depend upon the circumstance of the individual society, it is meant to serve.

To sum up, the government should be stable and long-lasting if the country is to be developed. To make it to the top 10, national laws must be enforced and accessible, let alone efficient and fair.

Moreover, justice is to be complemented, ethical and independent representatives who are nonpartisan, have adequate resources to judge a case, and reflect the makeup of the communities they serve. In the case of Qatar, it was more obvious that it was ranked ahead of Singapore, Finland, the USA, New Zealand, and the UK stood 14th in the chart.

Unless this underlying issue is solved and effectively addressed, sustainable development will be a dream.
