To start as a writer we should let our words flow and develop the habit of writing regularly. We will be able to find relevant topics and brainstorm ideas as we develop the habit of writing regularly. We can start to get creative by writing poems, book reviews, essays, or short stories.
It can be learned as a process and technique. Also, learning from experienced writers can save our time. Peer reviews can let us know about the impact that our writing is creating. We can send them to different publication houses and earn healthy feedbacks.
This is the digital age and we will find many digital media as a platform to exhibit our writing quickly. This will surely bring positive changes in our writing skills as it develops critical thinking, understanding, and compassion.
Here, I would like to mention some points on how to be positive as a writer and stick to your writing goals.

Attempt translating a literary work. Translation will develop knowledge about grammar and overall language competency.

Do not get discouraged with negative feedbacks from peers regarding one’s writings and seek feedback.

Learn to edit your writings. Good writers are also good editors.

Keep sticking to writing goals. For Novels, one has to fulfill the daily word count.

Be social and also consider stepping out of social media.

Consider sending your poems, book reviews, essays, flash fiction, or stories to magazines and platforms.

Do not worry about rejections. Work for betterment.
