I conquer my soul with my mistakes
I realize with a hope that I was mistaken
to call my mistake a mistake.
I reflect upon it, I ponder upon it,
a second chance it gives me to grow and
show the world that
I am a lifelong learner.
I only wish to be soft spoken,
a hard thinker and a good listener.
Jewels of hope like beaded pearls dance in my eyes
I realize that like a breeze of air I can touch
the world and feel it in my touch.
A gentle reminder it is.
My senses have served me to be who I am.
I win my mistakes and declare myself a winner
I win accolades for my better self and better realization than yesterday
I am still in the making,
from desolate years I am still awaking.
