Marvel has a huge influence on cinemas and their superhero movies definitely rule the box office during their release. Also, their immense collections of movies are impressive – worth binging.

 

While everyone has different tastes, here is a list of Top 10 IMDb rated MCU and non-MCU Superhero movies (in Ascending order):

 

  1. Avengers: Endgame (2019)

    Rating : 8.4

After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos’ actions and restore balance to the universe.

The most awaited movie of the year 2019 – I remember watching it amidst my finals; certainly surpassed my expectations.

 

  1. Avengers : Infinity War (2018)

    Rating : 8.4

The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

This movie was also hyped in 2018 – the storyline too good that we were all desperately longing for the final part.

 

  1. Logan (2017)

     Rating : 8.1

Logan comes out of retirement to escort a young mutant named Laura to a safe place. He meets with other mutants, who run from an evil corporation that has been experimenting with them, along the way.

Wolverine’s storyline has to be the best of all X-men series; a masterpiece from beginning to end. This movie undeniably gave justice to the iconic character.

 

  1. Deadpool (2016)

     Rating : 8

Ajax, a twisted scientist, experiments on Wade Wilson, a mercenary, to cure him of cancer and give him healing powers. However, the experiment leaves Wade disfigured and he decides to exact revenge.

This movie is hilarious, entertaining and refreshing. One of the best anti-villain movies I have watched many times. No doubt, you have too.

 

  1. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Rating : 8

A group of intergalactic criminals must pull together to stop a fanatical warrior with plans to purge the universe.

I re-watch this movie for its perfectly balanced fun, humor and action. Also, for the amazing characters and their performances.

 

  1. The Avengers (2012)

Rating : 8

Earth’s mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.

Having seen the other Avengers in their own solo movies, it was definitely awaited to see them interact for the first time. Luckily, it was not the last.

 

  1. Thor : Ragnarok (2017)

Rating : 7.9

Imprisoned on the planet Sakaar, Thor must race against time to return to Asgard and stop Ragnarök, the destruction of his world, at the hands of the powerful and ruthless villain Hela.

One of my favorite MCU movies of all. A good combination of action and comedy – this movie is entertaining.

 

  1. Iron man (2008)

Rating : 7.9

After being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer Tony Stark creates a unique weaponized suit of armor to fight evil.

The Kickstarter to the MCU – we were all blown away by the CGI and an incredible plot. Even after a decade of its release, it is still one of the best movies of MCU.

 

  1. X-men : Days of the future past (2014)

Rating : 7.9

Wolverine travels back in time to stop Mystique from assassinating Bolivar Trask, whose death leads to the creation of the Sentinels, which are robots designed to kill mutants.

The Wolverine series got to be the best of the X-men series; even the ratings are comparatively higher than its other movies.

 

  1. Captain America : Civil War (2016)

Rating : 7.8

Political involvement in the Avengers’ affairs causes a rift between Captain America and Iron Man.

From cinematography to visual effects to action sequences, this film wins in every department. The best one among the Captain America trilogy.
